We started out with the idea of Sprogley towards the end of 2018. With the passion we already had for cars, in particular the Astra VXRs we owned, as well as the little nuggety cars (hence the slogan) the VW Lupo and Peugeot 106, we had the idea to design and make our own parts to make the cars we owned better and faster.
The process of learning CAD and how to operate a 3D printer was very taxing. There is a world of a difference between using a little hobby to print the odd part here and there, and running commercial printer farm consistently producing high quality parts like we do now.
It took the best part of a year, from the start, to purchase our first commercial printer. His name is Chieftain, and if you own a Sprogley Airbox, it was almost certainly printed on him. Shortly afterwards, we acquired Colin 1 and Colin 2, the smaller commercial printers that make all the parts such as our gearstick raisers and V2 fog delete ducts for the VXRs.
Fast forward a couple of years, we have expanded our range of products from just our 3D printed range, to full intake kits, pipe kits and more! As well as this, we now can offer you guys a fantastic range of products that we have tested and used ourselves, from other brands.
