SM lower control arm brake ducts for the Vauxhall / Opel Astra Mk5 (H) including Vxr and OPC.
 
Please Note - These lower arm ducts will fit any model of car that shares the lower arms of the Astra. Because we have only fitted these to an Astra, we cant guarantee they will fit to any other model.

The SM lower arm brake ducts are essentially a copy of the brake ducts made by Vauxhall, that are no longer produced and haven't been for some time. This was a popular request as they are very hard to come by second hand, and are a very effective way to cool your front brakes while not having to alter any factory component.
 
Having been designed by Vauxhall, the R&D is already in the design, so you can be assured they are function as intended. We believe they were originally fitted to police cars by Vauxhall, and were never a factory option on any model of car.
 
We have made some minor adjustments to the original design, partially to increase their effectiveness and partially to cater to our manufacturing process. They are very strong thanks to the additions of our air blades, keeping the part together even at very high speeds.
 
The kit is supplied with the hardware to fit. This hardware may seem a little primitive, but it is exactly how the OEM ducts were fitted. Our Astra Vxr track car has completed various track days as well as 2 Nurburgring trips including top speed runs on the Autobahn with the lower arm ducts attached in the same way. If for whatever reason you lose one, we will replace it!
