The duct unit is designed to replace the factory fog light unit on an ever-growing list of vehicles that share the same fog light.
The benefit of replacing your fog light with a duct is that you create 1 (single) or 2 (pair) effective openings which can be utilised to cool areas severely affected by heat. The popular areas are the brake rotors (extremely effective on track cars) which combats brake fade, the turbo actuator and recirculation valve which can suffer from excess heat resulting in loss of power and turbo spool (effective on track cars and fast road cars) and possibly the most popular, the air filter, to feed cool air directly and reduce intake temperatures (to a degree).
The product has been designed specifically so that no modification is required to any original components of the car (unlike cheaper methods which may require cutting of the factory fog surround). Installation is very simple, taking an hour max if you take great care and have very little mechanical experience. Typical installation can be done in as little as 20 minutes.
