Sprogley Motorsport PRO Z20 90mm Hybrid Intake Kit for KOx Turbo
Sprogley Motorsport PRO 90mm Enlarged Direct Route intake kit for the Vauxhall Z20LEx Engine to fit the Ko4/6 Turbo.
Please note the following:
- Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be dispatched, as the JS silicone is made to order. Thank you for understanding.
- Your MAF sensor will need recalibrating to run this intake. Please DO NOT fit this intake without getting it done, as it may cause your car to run poorly and even damage engine components.
- Oil dipstick needs to be adjusted forward slightly in order to fit this intake. This is very simple to do with a screw driver and will cause no damage to any components.
- This intake does not have a breather port. We offer an SM spec Airtec Motorsport breather kit to suit this intake, or a Ramair 16mm breather filter if you already have a catch can fitted.
We are very pleased to bring you our highly anticipated 90mm HYBRID intake kit for Ko4/6 turbos.
Kit includes
SM 90mm direct route intake pipe (brushed ally or satin black aluminium elbow, range of upgraded JS Performance hose colours)
Ramair Proram oversized 114mm performance air filter
SM integral 90mm MAF housing and velocity stack filter base
Stainless Jubilee Clips
Kit will fit the following vehicles (requres MAF sensor to be recalibrated)
- Vauxhall Astra H VXR
- Vauxhall Astra H SRI 2.0T
- Vauxhall Zafira VXR
- Vauxhall Astra G GSI
- Other Z20LEx vehicles (not 100% confirmed)
This intake will fit any Ko turbo, from a stock Ko4 to a Ko6 Hybrid
We also have a normal direct route intake kit if you do not require a 90mm MAF.
This kit is the cost effective answer for people wanting to make big power on Ko4/6 Hybrid set ups. With supporting mods and the correct turbo, 350-400+bhp is achievable with this intake.
Our intake pipe is half aluminium and half silicone. This allows you to get the kit to fit correctly to your turbo, without sitting too high and hitting the bonnet, or having a less than ideal silicone join to the turbo inlet pipe. You end up with a perfect fitting intake pipe that works great with an open cone filter.
The aluminium elbow not only looks great, in either a brushed or satin black finish, but it also enhances sound as well as helping to protect from heat.
We have managed to source THE BIGGEST Proram air filter that is possible to fit under the bonnet. The oversized ramair Proram air filter has a massive 114mm ID base. This is fitted to the intake using our integral MAF housing and filter base. The base incorperates a venturi stack enhancing airflow into the intake. It also removes the need for a stand alone 90mm MAF housing, making the whole set up more compact and better fitting in the engine bay.
Please note, this size of Proram will only fit our 90mm Intake. It is not possible to fit it to anything else due to its unusual neck size.
Why not take your intake set up one step further and add our enlarged air feed, or couple it up with our V2 3" Fog Delete Ducts, for the ultimate performance set up for your Vauxhall!

Instructions
Failing to correctly install our MAF housings can cause damage such as cracking/splitting. These MAF housings have been tested thoroughly, both by ourselves and independently. They are more than strong enough for their purpose, and will only break if not installed correctly. We WILL NOT replace or refund any MAF housing that has clearly been damaged due to incorrect installation (see returns policy, section 1.6), so please read the following instructions and take care during installation.
Please ensure your car is calibrated to run the chosen MAF housing size (80mm, 90mm etc). Failing to do so can cause the car to run poorly and can potentially cause serious damage.
Screwing the MAF sensor into the housing
When installing the screws into our MAF housing, it is essential to take care to avoid cracking the sensor boss. The screw thread needs to be cut inside the hole. This can be done by gently turning the screw in 2 turns, followed by turning back out 1 turn. We have installed countless sensors into our MAF housings this way, and never once caused the housing to split.
Connecting your silicone pipe to the MAF housing
Due to the rough surface and tight tolerance of the 3D printed part, silicone pipes grip onto the housing very well, without any clamping force from a jubilee clip. We have deliberately made the fit very snug for this reason. The jubilee clip is simply a safety measure to ensure the MAF housing can't possibly slip out of the silicone pipe. Because of this, the jubilee clip only needs nipping up. It is important to remember that the air inside your intake is a vacuum, not positive pressure. By gently nipping the jubilee clip up, you will not damage the MAF housing. If the jubilee clip is aggressively over-tightened, it will cause the MAF housing to crack. This amount of pressure is completely unnecessary.
Please take care during the installation.
